oh. my. The only thing I'm upset about is finding this game too soon, I can't wait to see where the story goes. It's one of my fav games ever, I don't even know where to start.
The pretty art style along with the well-chosen colours, the rosy-filtered backgrounds and the music give the perfect atmosphere making it seem cutesy and romantic, but with an underline of unknown, like you know in the back of your head something is not right. They give the perfect yandere-ish vibe.
I don't know about the characters, but I can't wait to get to know them better, and I hope they'll interact more with Ren, and get the chance to have an opinion about him, I really wish to see what they think about him.
I love how we got to see little glimpses of Ren, especially his apartment since homes tend to tell a lot about us. I like his character, though he gets a little bit too much sometimes I can't just find it inside me not to like him.
I also like the MC's friends, how they interact, and especially the way the MC is still somewhat friends with Teo, no matter the reason, it feels realistic in a way I can't explain (might be wrong here as I haven't seen THAT much of them, but these are my thoughts up until now).
I hope you have a good time working on this, and I can't wait to see where it'll go.

To Devs, regarding the new update: I saw you changed 'non-binary' to 'non-specified' and that's a great move! However, I strongly recommend returning to 'intersex' for the other option, as 'hermaphrodite' is dehumanising to the intersex community.

A few folks suggested "hermaphrodite" (and even gave a few examples of other games using it), but I’d be more than happy to change it if there’s any other word that describes having both genitalia + doesn’t dehumanise others!!

If you wanted to be sure, it'd be good to check out some intersex communities and see if you could get feedback from them on whether you'd be representing them or misusing the term.

It involves having internal and physical traits that are not strictly male or female. From what I can gather, OP wanted an option for having both parts, so labelling it as 'intersex' would not give the most accurate result. By using that term, it could imply having a male body but female reproductive system, or having female breasts and hips but male genitalia - when in reality, it's not what OP meant. People who are intersex might feel mislead or dysphoric when they find out it merely meant having both male and female genitalia. I'd also recommend you look at this from a typical, fictional porn game viewpoint: it's more about the NSFW aspect rather than the literal aspect. Some people might like the idea of having both genitals, and that is OK! It's not my place to take it from them or misinform them with the wrong term.
And I have honestly never heard of 'hermaphrodite' being used as an offensive or dehumanising term in my 19 years of living. The rationale that intersex includes more than visuals and this game is only showing external genitalia is a great point but, that also applies for male/female genitalia not representing all types of male/female genitalia nor the hormonal, chromosomal or life experiences of each group. While it's more complex and less understood in intersex, me and my intersex friends are more concerned with the potential normalising of a derogatory word than we are of people thinking all intersex people have both.
Concerns that intersex people might not feel represented is valid, which is why I think a small sentence explaining the function of these genital choices (that they're an option between penis, vagina, both, or neither) is the best way to make sure people are making informed decisions on which they pick, and can help offset the miscommunication of whether this is what 'all X' look like. Alternatively, we could just put 'Penis, vagina, both, neither' as the options instead of sex-based labels.

i think it's because he was using foundation/concealer to hide them. the same reason why he wasn't comfortable with taking off his shirt in day 1. most likely something to do with tattoos and him not wanting mc to see them.
I was sooo excited for day two but as I went to download it I didn't read that you had to delete the old files or whatever and then the game bugged out so I deleted all the old files and it still wouldn't work so again I deleted everything and just redownloaded it but my computer keeps saying access denied and then automatically deleting the files again as soon as it finishes downloading D: Does anyone know what to do?! 😭

Did you try downloading from another browser?? Did you delete all of your old save files and outdated versions?? Did you try running on administrator?? Old save files no longer work either because the script has been updated and relies on old code that no longer exists.

Intesex is a group of different biological conditions internal and external. Wanted to make my mc trans-man an he was wearing "panties" and has breasts. But this has already been corrected in the upcoming 2.0 update for itch.io!! I was misinformed on the meaning of "intersex" by the people who suggested it to me, and I (stupidly) didn't do any research before adding it into the demo — so that's entirely my fault. I've since changed it to "hermaphrodite" instead to avoid any confusion!! I'm also non-binary myself so I'm aware it doesn't work that way, but I'm also dyslexic and generally scatterbrained, which is why I didn't realise I'd written the wrong thing in first place. I meant to write "non-specified", but had a brain fart moment and didn't notice it was wrong until I heard someone say it in a video ^^; It's also been changed accordingly though!!
But thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I'm very sorry if this affected you in a negative way while playing the demo. It wasn't my intention, and I genuinely had no idea until others brought it up with me ;v;

Idk if I sound stupid, but I have a windows PC, and I downloaded the game files, and I tried to open the game but idk how, does anyone have some ideas or know how to? Im desperate
Once you download it, the file will be in a zip folder. Just right click on the file and click "Extract All" then "Extract". Then just open the file and find the 14dayswithyou.exe file to open the game. Your PC might get a pop up that says "Windows protected your PC". Don't worry, your PC if just making sure you don't open any files that could put your PC at risk, just click the button that says "More info" then "Run Anyway" and the game will start.
Ok, I did all that but when I click on it it just showed me 'run as administrator' and 'run as another user', when I click 'run as administrator nothing happens, and when I click 'run as another user' it tells me to put in my credentials, I tried some random things, and my emails but it just told me that the password or username is incorrect, I also tried a left click on my mouse and then 'open' put still it did nothing; idk if something is wrong w my PC
The person above me explained it perfectly, but if that method didn't work; try making sure your firewall allows games downloaded from itch.io to work!! (but make sure to turn it back on once you're done)
Otherwise I'm not quite sure how else to solve this issue since I'm unable to replicate it ;v;

Hiya! I really love your game and the whole concept. I felt this yandere game a bit creepier than usual, cause I work at a library and have a firend named Vii so I was getting all the weird vibes. (In a good way!) But still, funny coincidence (imagine my freakout!) However, I couldn't help but notice some library terms mixed up or the wrong terms used. Intesex is a group of different biological conditions internal and external. Wanted to make my mc trans-man an he was wearing "panties" and has breasts. Why not just make "p*nis or v*gina" and "chest or brests" options? Its confusing af.

But this has already been corrected in the upcoming 2.0 update for itch.io!! I was misinformed on the meaning of "intersex" by the people who suggested it to me, and I (stupidly) didn't do any research before adding it into the demo — so that's entirely my fault. I've since changed it to "hermaphrodite" instead to avoid any confusion!! I'm also non-binary myself so I'm aware it doesn't work that way, but I'm also dyslexic and generally scatterbrained, which is why I didn't realise I'd written the wrong thing in first place. I meant to write "non-specified", but had a brain fart moment and didn't notice it was wrong until I heard someone say it in a video ^^; It's also been changed accordingly though!!
But thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I'm very sorry if this affected you in a negative way while playing the demo. It wasn't my intention, and I genuinely had no idea until others brought it up with me ;v;

This is a very good game my only "Problem" with it is that ren gives off Hard bottom vibes and yet the MC still gets bottomed overall game is great

Idk if I sound stupid, but I have a windows PC, and I downloaded the game files, and I tried to open the game but idk how, does anyone have some ideas or know how to? Im desperate
Once you download it, the file will be in a zip folder. Just right click on the file and click "Extract All" then "Extract". Then just open the file and find the 14dayswithyou.exe file to open the game. Your PC might get a pop up that says "Windows protected your PC". Don't worry, your PC if just making sure you don't open any files that could put your PC at risk, just click the button that says "More info" then "Run Anyway" and the game will start.
Ok, I did all that but when I click on it it just showed me 'run as administrator' and 'run as another user', when I click 'run as administrator nothing happens, and when I click 'run as another user' it tells me to put in my credentials, I tried some random things, and my emails but it just told me that the password or username is incorrect, I also tried a left click on my mouse and then 'open' put still it did nothing; idk if something is wrong w my PC
Not sure how to help with that. Try looking up YouTube tutorials or help pages to see if you can figure out the issue. Best of luck.

The person above me explained it perfectly, but if that method didn't work; try making sure your firewall allows games downloaded from itch.io to work!! (but make sure to turn it back on once you're done)

eu realmente gosto MUITO deste jogo, porém eu tive um problema com esta ultima atualização, a imagem do jogo simplesmente esta congelada; Eu tentei excluir o arquivo e refazer o download mas o problema continua. Estava muito ansiosa para ver o que hávia de novo mas não pude, espero que futuramente possa desfrutar do jogo sem este problema :(

I felt this yandere game a bit creepier than usual, cause I work at a library and have a firend named Vii so I was getting all the weird vibes. (In a good way!) But still, funny coincidence (imagine my freakout!)
However, I couldn't help but notice some library terms mixed up or the wrong terms used. If you need tips and stuff about behind the scenes library work and librarian lingo, I'm more than happy to give some tips and stuff. ^^
Regardless, I still enjoyed it a lot and I'm looking forward to see more of your game!
