After a long month of beta testing, the newest update for 14 Days With You has finally been released on Itch!! With it comes a brand new Day, new events with Ren, as well as a few QOL improvements! I hope you all enjoy ^^

What's new in 4.0.7?

• Moth now has a brand new video call sprite
  • Instead of their default talking sprite showing up, Moth now has a unique phone UI whenever they video call!
  • This only applies to video calls; regular phone calls still feature the normal UI.
• The CGs all received a minor update
  • The 18+ CG for Day 1 got a slight revamp to match the current art style of the game.
  • Ren now blinks in all of his CGs to make it seem more consistent.
• Some lines of dialogue have been changed
  • Nothing too noticeable; just a few grammatical tweaks that were brought up in the Discord server.
• Ren's hair colour is now officially two-toned
  • Another minor change, but Ren's default sprite now has pink and blue hair!
  • This should make his normal hair length match its long and short counterpart now gsgjs
• Some of the backgrounds received a massive graphic update
  • My CSP files got corrupted, so I decided to remake the backgrounds in order to maintain the overall aesthetic and consistency
• Some of the ambience SFX received a minor update
  • Hopefully they're not as loud or obtrusive anymore!
  • An "ambience" slider has also been added to the preference menu to adjust the volume.

Known Bugs | Errors

⚠️ Before downloading the latest update, make sure you delete any previous builds/versions of the game! This includes Day 3.5, Day 3, Day 2, etc.

If you get the "renhelp/badend/unknown tag is unobtained" error

Please delete any previous builds/versions of the game and re-download the latest update.
Old saves from previous versions might be conflicting with the game files as well, so try deleting them as a last resort. You can quickly delete your save files by clicking on the trash icon in the main menu (shown below).

If Ren disappears from the main menu

This means you got the 4th Dead End. Congrats! /pos If you want to bring Ren back, you can do so by playing a new game — or by clicking on the trash icon in the main menu (shown below). A secret menu will pop up.

If you can't load old save files

If you can't load a save file, please just delete it. Most saves aren't 100% compatible with the newer updates (especially if they're from version 1.0), so it's best to just remove or save over them. You can quickly delete your save files by clicking on the trash icon in the main menu (shown below).
